ALEX RODRIGUEZ, KEYNOTE DURING DETROIT AUTO SHOW
DETROIT, MI – Alex Rodriguez, former New York Yankee, World Series Champion and Former Owner, Alex Rodriguez Mercedes Benz, will be the keynote speaker at the 8th Annual Multicultural Media Luncheon, Thursday, January 18, 2018, 11am at the MGM Grand Detroit Meetings & Events Center in Detroit during the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) Press Week activities. Rodriguez’s topic will be “Maintaining Brand Equity”. The event is produced by The Ajamu Group, LLC. and sponsored by Toyota.
Over the course of his iconic baseball career, Mr. Rodriguez also built a tremendously successful investment firm with the purchase of a single duplex in 2003. Mr. Rodriguez subsequently founded A-Rod Corp, and created a fully-integrated real estate investment and development firm, while managing a record-breaking baseball career. Following the company’s success in real estate, A-Rod Corp broadened its investment mandate to encompass assets across a wider array of industries, including sports and wellness, media, and entertainment.
The luncheon will also honor ethnic groups for their achievements in the automotive industry. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Haitian charity Project Medishare and Orchards Children’s Services, a foster care and adoption agency in Michigan.
The Multicultural Media Luncheon was created by The Ajamu Group, a national advertising media sales and event management company in Southfield, Michigan. “We are excited to partner again with NAIAS for the 8th year to recognize and celebrate the worldwide impact that various ethnic groups make in the automotive industry,” said Cheryl Parks Ajamu, Founder and CEO, a 17-year automotive advertising industry professional.
