GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – In an effort to continue bringing more diverse entertainment to downtown Grand Rapids, The Grand Rapids Kent County Convention and Arena Authority’s Inclusion Group is presenting the Latin Entertainment Series.
Next week, “Sean Blackman in Transit presents Tango y Flamenco Fusion” will be taking to the DeVos Performance Hall on Thursday, August 30 at 7:30 p.m. Sean performed for “My West Michigan” and invited Jennifer Pascua and Valerie Lego to learn some flamenco moves.
Tango y Flamenco Fusion is part one of the Latin Entertainment Series and features U.S. Argentine Tango Champions Daniel y Amanda, pianist Bob Mervak and violinist Sonia Lee. Amanda Accica y Daniel Morenoare the 2016 USA Tango Champions, based out of Argentine Tango Detroit. Amanda & Daniel spent many years studying in Argentina and for the past three years they have been competing nationally and continue to stay on top receiving numerous accolades becoming one of the most sought after teachers and performers in the area.
